The soul of Italian cooking is simple: Use a few good ingredients and cook with love. This collection of recipes was developed to show you exactly how that’s done and to give you recipes that will easily become part of your regular weeknight routine.
How it works: For the next 30 weeks, you will receive a new recipe each week via email. You’ll also get a unique login to go back and look at the recipes already delivered to you, all in one place. At the end of the 30 weeks, a printed copy of the cookbook will be sent to you in the mail. Membership in the Arthur Avenue Cookbook Club also includes our community forum for you to post photos, ask questions, and interact with the other members.
These recipes were developed by Arthur Schwartz who was the restaurant critic and executive food editor of the New York Daily News for 18 years. He is the author of many award-winning cookbooks, including Arthur Schwartz’s New York City Food: An Opinionated History with Legendary Recipes, and Naples at Table: Cooking in Campania, and The Southern Italian Table: Authentic Tastes from Traditional Kitchens which made Arthur the acknowledged U.S. expert on the cuisines of the Italian south.
